LGFP is committed to building the capability of finance professionals in Queensland local government - wherever they are located. Since its launch in 2021, the LGFP Conference Subsidy Program has supported over 50 delegates from 28 councils to attend our Annual Conference. The program specifically supports Tier 7 and Tier 8 councils, helping ensure that professionals working in Indigenous, rural, and remote areas have the opportunity to participate in vital development and networking opportunities.
For 2025, with the generous support of the Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers and Queensland Treasury Corporation, we are pleased to offer one fully subsidised registration per eligible Tier 7 and Tier 8 council. The subsidy includes registration to the LGFP Annual Conference, registration to the pre-conference masterclass Project Management Fundamentals for Finance Professionals and all social functions.
